2016 will be a busy year for MAGIC Magazine's editor and chief, Stan Allen. It will be the 25th anniversary of the magazine plus he will produce another MAGIC Live! convention. You will no doubt be seeing and hearing a lot about this throughout the year including at the 2016 S.A.M. National Convention where Stan will be the Guest of Honor.
So, we prematurely kick off the New Year with a podcast featuring a chat with Stan Allen. He talks about the current (and future) state of printed magic magazines in the U.S. and the challenges with being in the digital age. He also talks about the difficulty of "recreating the wheel" for every MAGIC Live! convention and how he tries to move these events forward and building on successes rather than trying to copy the previous convention.
