Indeed: Italy did not publish the fist magazine dedicated to magic as conjuring. This was The Conjuror's Magazine, published in 1791 by one William Locke in England. Magicpedia is correct in this instance and perhaps Mr. Ghiurmino could indicate in his blog that L'Illusionista was the first ITALIAN magic magazine.
