Has anyone succeeded 'Cards by Martin'?
What prompts the question is a desire to find additional (Guy Hollingworth) Quartet cards. There's a card maker in Germany, Bernd Maucksch who does nice work, at least from his web page. However, has no Quartet cards available. Any other card craftspersons out there? Of course, Gary Plants comes to mind, but I don't believe he's ever offered this particular gimmick.
And I do miss Neil Lester . . .

I believe Guy still has them. The gimmicks for Quartet must be printed.

For custom cards now-a-days, Marty Martini has always served me well...but, I sure do miss Neil.

Bill:
I bought my set directly from Guy some years ago: http://www.guy-hollingworth.com/quartet.html
Perhaps you might consider contacting him if you haven't done so yet?

GH's website was checked before I did any other looking. I get the impression that one can no longer buy directly from Mr. H. Nevertheless, I'll write to him, and let you all know how it goes. Thanks for the replies/suggestions.

Erdnasephile is correct: that bucket's got a hole in it. It don't work no more.
Anybody out there know Lord Hollingworth and can find out what the deal is? Looks like no deal . . .

Bill, I also wrote to Guy on your behalf some days ago and haven't received a reply. He might be on vacation or on a really big case!

Richard, thank you for your generous effort. As is the case with most hard-to-find magic items, patience is most likely the best strategy. Of course, I make that statement in spite of being a native Philadelphian, where the motto is, "Money talks. [censored] walks."

Has anyone found these cards anywhere?

Contact Bernd, he will make them beautifully. Engaging barristers is so expensive. It is mischievous of others to recommend it at all. Just imagine what they would charge you for a double backer?

Thanks for posting this!
(For some reason, that link was broken for me. I think this one works: https://throwingcards.blogspot.com/sear ... y%20Martin )

FWIW, looks like the Quartet cards are "temporarily unavailable" again
