I've just uploaded a few videos that Genii Forum members will hopefully enjoy.

The first is a 20-second TV commercial that is running on History Channel all week to promote the premiere broadcast of my TV special LOST MAGIC DECODED on Thursday.

The second is a web-exclusive short film that features David Berglas and Peter Lane. We shot the film at the Magic Circle in London. It covers the story of Chung Ling Soo's life and dramatic on-stage death while performing the Bullet Catch. You can see Chung Ling Soo's death certificate, and other rarely seen Soo memorabilia.

Thanks for those links. This looks great. We have History Channel here in Ireland. I'm just hoping they are on the same schedule as the US.

It is wonderful to see a really nicely produced programme that, evidently, much thought has gone in to. Kudos to you and thanks to you and the producers for making this programme.

Magic cognoscenti include Edwin Dawes, William Kalush and Peter Lamont; there are visits to the collections of John Gaughan and Ken Klosterman; also an interesting recollection of Simon Drake's bullet catch experience.

The show was EXCELLENT. (Even had some Houdini footage I've never seen.) Great work by Steve and all involved.

+1 to that--what a wonderful special! Intelligent, respectful, interesting, and fun. Bullet Catch freaked me out. The Indian rope trick was cool (Question: Did the Indian fakir tip the MO to Mr. Cohen?) I also loved the clips from the parlour shows.

The one thing I thought was funny--why do voice over narrators always adopt the "super spooky voice" when they do specials like these?

I think a lot of folks ordered it yesterday ... I really watched the discount offer on history site, but today the discount is gone. Only normal price.

Mmmm in fact a lot of products are listed with discount but with you view the "detailed product" are shown with normal price. Other items are listed with 50% off but really has 20%.

Received my DVD in the post yesterday. Am 5 minutes in to watching and am riveted. This is great stuff.
