Broken Wand : Cesareo Pelaez

Postby Magic Newswire » March 27th, 2012, 11:58 pm

I am certain that I am overlooking it somehow, but has the death of the founder of the longest running magic stage show been overlooked?

Ok.. Just found it in "General" which I thought was to discuss Genii as it says in the description of the topic and not in Buzz where it seems to me that it belongs. What a loss

I am saddend by the passing of both
Cesareo and Frank Dailey in the same week.

I have fond memories of both.

Cesareo (along with David & Seth) was such a
gracious host to us when
we were in Boston working out there. I enjoyed
participating in their dance rehearsals and
the wonderful things that he gave my mom. I eventually
sold most of them and kept my favorite.

It was a joy when the troupe took time off to come
out to Abbott's. At one of the typical private parties
we all gathered, which happened to be my birthday.
I was lucky enough to have Cesareo along with David
and Seth with a couple of other guys since "Happy
Birthday" to me.

Fond memories.

I need someone to write a 500 word obit for Cesareo for the June issue of Genii. Please contact me at moobooks@verizon.net if you would be so kind.
