Steve,

There are no words to express how deeply sorry I am that this has happened. I cannot fathom the depth of the grief you are going through. My thoughts are with you and I"m am so incredibly sorry to hear about your loss. As a parent myself, losing a child is the one thing in life we all hope we never have to face. Rely on your faith and your family and let them help you shoulder the burden of such a heavy and tragic loss.

PAYPAL has been added, as well as a twitter and Facebook share button. Local news media, whom I contacted last night to get a bank account set up locally to assist, finally called back. They are working with the local fire chief to get a fund set up a local fund for Steve's daughter.

Looks like it is all coming together. Please continue to keep Steve's family in your thoughts.

Give what you can. Anything is better than nothing at all. They lost a child and a home. Thank you all for assisting!

We have almost reached a goal I came up with this morning! Beautiful people have been more than kind with the donations. This fundraising will end on 3/16 and I hope to raise much more for Steve's family. They have no home or belongings left and are grieving at the same time for the loss of a child. Please give.

We reached the goal last night and then some. Thank you all so very much. The fund raising effort for the family is still going. Donate what you can. Hopefully by the end of the weekend we can double this amount. I had no idea that there were so many caring people in the group. Please continue to support Steve Brooks and family.

Best-

I know most of you are thinking about donating and have not yet. I personally was waiting on payday. I would like to have each person on the cafe take a moment and put yourself in Steve's family position. Would you not want everyone to spread the word that could help? What if every cafe member donated $5? My goal in setting up this fundraising event was just to get the ball rolling as fast as I could to help someone I dod not know, nor have ever met. I simply felt moved by the situation and wanted to see the family taken care of and comforted. As I mentioned before, I did contact the news station and tried that route. I then felt that the ball was in my court to get something done faster.

I have seen very generous donations from several people, but want those of you that have not donated yet to just take a moment and give something, no matter how big or small.

Wow.... What support for Steve and his Family! I want to personaly thank everyone who has donated and everyone who has kept them in their thoughts and prayers. This community, though we have our differences, is a caring one.

Though I have nothing to do with the fundraising besides donating myself,Thanks to all! You are in my thoughts.

We are close to $5k. I am working on a "special idea" to help push this fund over the top. I would challenge any dealers to contact me. I have emailed you and received little reply. I know you read my email ;)

Here are the raffle rules of donation. I will list the item and times of each item the evening before, check back here for the list.
There is a minimum donation that I will list next to the item. Do not combine donations as I will count them as a single. Should you wish to donate more than once for a better chance, please do so.
In order to make this work, when you donate, use your real name. Do not donate as anonymous, or hide your donation amount. PLEASE double check your email address as this will be the only way I have to contact you. I will make 2 attempts to contact winners.
In the notes, please verify the item you are donating for. Example if the raffle from 8am-noon is for a wand with minimum donation of $25, please add the word "wand" in the note area of the donation.
Raffle for MONDAY....
7am - 12 noon CST Limited Edition Allakazam Wand 50th Anniversary set Donations of $30 to qualify
1pm - 6pm CST Slingshot Donations of $25 to qualify
