Can we expect a class action over "no, the clean heand" bit?

I love how the reporter added this little bit of commentary...

"Klok, whose long blond hair is constantly swept by a wind that seems to arise from nowhere, "

No doubt, Copperfield has his lawyers on the case right now...

hmmm - the folks who made The Seven Year Itch might want a piece of that iconic action "hommage".

Apparently, the fine consists of the trial costs. Also, Klok has been summoned to pay a 5000 fine every time he violates the copyright in the future.

Dear Mr. Tom Stone,

The trail costs are about 4000 Euro, the rest is a fine. (that's what i've read on the dutch web-site that has the details of this court case)

Can you imagine that a friend borrow an illusion from you because he needs help for a one time gig and copies the mechanics, the costume and performs it using the same routine all this without asking.

I heard from a reliable source that Rafael tried everything to discuss this with Hans Klok in private but he was forced to take the next step because Klok's managers said that they have no intention whatsoever to stop to use Rafael's act.

I think it is normal when someone copies your act, costume, gimmick and performs it in exactly the same way that you do whatever is needed to protect your 'baby'!

I am glad that Rafael made the very difficult decision to stand up for his creation against a 'friend' and he made Magic History by showing us that there is a way to protect your original magic.
I think every creator will agree that this is an important step for our Art.
