I wonder what he did with all the money he made to be so in need of cash he has to do [censored] like this.

Sad day.

I don't think it has to do with money. He seems to enjoy being in the public eye.

It aired this week. Paul Daniels' dancing was not judged as being all that good overall but the host and at least two of the judges seemed very friendly with him, and Daniels appeared to be a fan favorite / popular contestant. The show made the most of his life in magic, and included clips of his past. He made his partner, Ola Jordan, appear from inside an empty box and then they danced to Could it Be Magic. The pundits say he will be the first to be voted off, but if the audience is voting he might manage to stay around for a show or two (as there is at least one other bad dancer on the show, one without Daniels' entertainment value).

In other news, Paul and Debbie are renewing their wedding vows tomorrow:

Too bad the video does not include the interaction with the judges. What was with the 'don't give up your day job tasting sausages' crack to the gay judge Craig Revel Horwood? Apparently, not what it seemed:

I bet Paul Daniels & Ann Widdecombe "stay on/in" due to the "humour" factor; in the same way that bad acts stay on in the X-Factor. I'm very cynical about the judging on these reality shows, but I'm not often wrong about who stays on/in...

Paul was giving it his heart and soul. He didn't screw up any choreography that I could see. (Most of us would have).
I'm glad he was having fun because I had a lot of fun watching him.
I thought he was absolutely great!
And now, he's done everything else--and this.
