Due to the 100 degree heat here in Washington (it's actually the hottest summer on record, with more July days over 90 degrees than ever before), I am declaring today official Nude Magic Day.

Remove your clothes and practice magic in your birthday suit. Gentlemen and ladies, you will discover that you have ways to hold cards you never thought of before.

Note that I did not say to "perform" magic in the nude, though that is always an option on a legally sanctioned nude beach or in your home for consenting adults of legal age.

Personally, I have the AC cranked up and am writing the David Berglas book while fully clothed.

One fine day my wife and I were sitting naked in the hot tub with a couple of friends and the subject came up that I do magic. Immediately someone challenged me to do a trick right now. I did "Full Circle" from my one-man parade, which requires only that you be wearing your wedding ring.

There are many effects you can do sans clothing.....Detached Thumb...Arm Twister (with arm wrapped in a towel to keep blood from gushing out in the event of a bone break).....Clasped hands with turnover that DC did on tv (cannot remember the name of it)....I hesitate to mention Rising Card.....Hands-Free Linking Rings.....rubber band routines.....Pendulum effects....
