Lu Chen videos can be seen on my site www.petebiro.com
The thrill for me is that his act uses three or four of the effects I created. He also uses Dean Dill's coin routines.

Re: Article on Lu Chen
Glad to have found the link to the article, I was just watching some of Mr. Lu's work (I'm assuming that's the surname based on what little I've heard third-hand about Asian naming), and was about to post a "Who is this Lu Chen guy?"
The work is phenomenal...simple, clear, impossible plots handled beautifully with terrific staging and a warm, engaging personality that shines through the language barrier...all of the little touches -- pitch perfect music selection, great movement, great eye for material that generates buzz....he reminds me of a young Copperfield...

Re: Article on Lu Chen
Lu Chen is quite a popular figure in China. Having just returned from shows in several major cities in China I must say his name was mentioned in just about every conversation I had with TV hosts, newscaster and laymen! I'm not sure about him performing at the WMS teen show however. I do know he won a prize at the WMS in Japan. This is hosted by UGM and is the Asia WMS ... an awesome convention. While I was in Asia, Lu Chen has been in Canada doing shows at the River Rock Casino in BC ...
