On April 1st 2004, Calfornia Magic and Dinner Theater in Martinez California opened its doors to the public.
On April 1st 1979, Best Magic and Costume in Anaheim opened its doors to the public.
Three surviving brick and mortars - 1 year, 5 year and 30 year anniversaries....all opened April 1st. ... no fooling, that's something to celebrate.
I'm in charge of cake for Best Magic so I know we'll have that for anyone who wants to come in and play that day.
Don't know what the others are planning.
Just want to offer up a note of celebration that brick and mortars can continue these days.
