Magic and the Arts

Anyone here from Kentucky? A new play at Louisville's Humana Festival (which is featuring six new plays) is Orange Lemon Egg Canary, by Rinne Groff. According to our local paper, "Its title referring to a magic trick, this play is a lively tale that uses trickery, illusion, and sleight of hand to illuminate the most magical of subjects -- love.
Groff, originally an actress who founded a New York experimental theater company, wrote the play when an actor-magician mentioned that no play had successfully united magic and theater."

Steve,

Saw the play being advertised in the Lexington Herald Leader.

Trying to finish planning a wedding for June 14th, so probably won't make it out to see the play.

I auditioned and was called back for this production of Orange Lemon...

Would be curious to know who was cast in the lead role and if anyone has seen the producion, please tell me what you thought.

Hope to hear from you...
