Anyone here from Kentucky? A new play at Louisville's Humana Festival (which is featuring six new plays) is Orange Lemon Egg Canary, by Rinne Groff. According to our local paper, "Its title referring to a magic trick, this play is a lively tale that uses trickery, illusion, and sleight of hand to illuminate the most magical of subjects -- love.
Groff, originally an actress who founded a New York experimental theater company, wrote the play when an actor-magician mentioned that no play had successfully united magic and theater."

Re: Magic and the Arts
Steve,
Saw the play being advertised in the Lexington Herald Leader.
Trying to finish planning a wedding for June 14th, so probably won't make it out to see the play.
