This has been whispered about since I was a teenager: French Film producer Christian Fechner had a professional film crew shoot Slydini performing and explaining his most iconic routines. It has taken half a century for the project to come to fruition. You can order it now. Five hours of footage!

I wanted to know more details before purchasing, but even though I used Google translate on the site, it couldn't translate the text in the graphics. If you're a non-French reader (as I am), here's a tip: Chat GPT is able to translate the text in the graphics if you copy and paste the graphics into the GPT interface and ask it to translate. (That may be really obvious to those of you more computer savvy than I, but I thought it was pretty cool).

FWIW, after reading the text, I'm curious what they mean by "copy-protected" USB flash drive, as sometimes hardware fails.

This looks SO amazing. The language issue doesn't matter to me; Slydini is speaking English and that's all I need to see.

I'm curious about that as well. If this was a DVD a purchaser could transfer the media to hard disk and make backup copies. With this...maybe..not so much? I understand theyr'e worried about people making and posting/selling illicit copies, but I'm also wondering just how secure this copy protection is. Worst case is it's broken and sold, and the legal purchasers are penalized by not being able to make a backup.FWIW, after reading the text, I'm curious what they mean by "copy-protected" USB flash drive, as sometimes hardware fails.

If you use your imagination it's easy to see how you could make your own backup copy.

I expect the contents will all be up on You Tube within the next few years. That seems to be the way of the world nowadays. I like Slydini except for the things he does to music. I have altered two of those items to make them more practical for impromptu purposes.
