Tenyo?

Postby Scott Fridinger » October 28th, 2003, 4:40 pm

I found this on Ebay

Is Tenyo remaking effects, or is someone making copies?

This may be a silly question, but how can the illustrations for the Phanto Block be credited to Angelo Carbone if the trick was produced in 1976?

Angelo did not do the illustrations, obviously, and the box does not look like Tenyo manufacture.
I bought something from this seller, Steen Schmidt, for a very high price and he turned out to be a schmuck--the item I received was missing the original box, it had only a photocopy of the instructions, and one of the original pieces had been replaced.
Not a pleasant experience.

Just to clear up the crediting of images to me. I have only asked people who use the photos of tenyo tricks from my gallery on tenyoworld.com to credit me - not the illustrations. I ask this because I photographed my collection against a yellow background and tweaked and optimized them in photoshop. All are my own photos (with a few exceptions and help from others). So for my little work at least I would like a credit to my site.

Illustrations I took from various tenyo advertising.

PS: I too have heard many unfavorable comments on Steen.
