I did it

Postby mrgoat » June 9th, 2014, 6:04 pm

One man show =done.

Friday night 2/3 full, Saturday = full

Word of mouth spread.

I did 20 minutes card magic, 20 minutes parlour, then a 20 min interval and then my mind reading mysogonist character act Tony Sagitarius came out and SMASHED IT.

I [censored] loved every minute of it.

I cannot thank El Mystico here, my Uncle, for buying my Royal Road in 1983 and helping me patiently for years and years and coming up with the idea of Tony with me. And, Ian Kendal for mentoring me from moving to close up to stage.

I did an hour and 10 minute show. Of magic. And I sold 65 tickets at £10 a pop. (The venue hire was £60 for two night and the print costs for the posters was £160).

My baby is due in 4 weeks. That is a lot of nappies.

Now, when can I do it again!?!

Damian, a hearty hearty congratulations.

Now you need to have a really terrible terrible performance--it's necessary, though it will hurt like hell.
