another ebay rip-off

Postby Rick Maue » January 23rd, 2006, 10:27 am

Greetings,

Does anyone know anything about an ebay seller in Chicago by the name of "distinctive-merchandise"?

This person's "Magic Trick Store" is selling 1000 copies of my effect FATE. The funny thing is that I only wholesaled about 500 copies. (All of which went to Murphy's and to Denny--not to some unknown person in Chicago.) I may not be great at math, but I don't think that adds up properly.

I have alerted ebay, but we will have to see what happens. I believe it is getting close to the time to get the hell out of this business.

Keep the change,

Do a completed item search on the seller. Have they sold some magic posters in the past? The name sounds familiar, but I cannot place it. I would contact ebay though. I would be pissed.

Greetings,

Brad, it is good to hear from you. I hope all is well my friend.

As for the ebay stuff, they just pulled the listing a few minutes ago. But I still have a few different people searching to find out what we can about the seller. I will let you know if we find anything interesting.

Keep the change,
Rick
