It looks like Cynthia is after us both.
I'm hurt that she seems to be two-timing me already, this early in our relationship. Maybe we sshould share her?

Not sure how this happened, but lots of people are getting these.

I may be wrong, but I believe that "Cynthia" could be an anagram of "Mark Lewis."

Maybe it would be nice to have someone with which we can discuss the merits of the diagonal palm steal in a mature and safe environment.

I just got the email too.

I got the message too

It was bound to happen, chix dig magic.

I got it too and my wife saw it first and was not happy..I had to explain I did not know this person

This was done manually.

We have changed settings so this shouldn't happen again.

Our database was not compromised.

Further proof that things haven't been the same since Close Up Magic Week.........

I think Cynthia likes to meet all of us!! No matter what part of the world we are looking.

Jeez...now I've got 20 bloody messages from her! She sure has good taste, but I wish she'd bugger off! :)

A few moments with Google and we find that "Cynthia" is almost certainly a chap sitting in an Internet Cafe in Nigeria working what is known as a "419" scam.

Do not bite...do not write back...it is a hustle. There are several websites devoted to scamming the scammers. Some are extremely funny. Just Google "419 scam" and have a laugh at some of their messages.

I have to make sure it's not my wife hitting on all you guys.

That treacherous, conniving tramp Cynthia sent me the message too!

I'm hurt, no message for me. I guess I'm not as hot as I thought I was.

Really? I found her advocacy of the double undercut over a well timed pass to be simplistic and a bit old fashioned to be honest.

No, all of you did not get them, nor could all of you have received them.

We have many thousands of members, and only 100 to 200 people got them before we patched the loophole.

Mr. Kaufman is certainly correct. I did not receive one and I don't feel left out. I am relieved that you dealt with the issue so quickly and competently. Very nice job!

Due to the fact that I have, indeed, found my present wife on the internet, I must take umbrage to the TOTAL negativity to such happenings. I see and understand the funniness of the prospect as one of my nieces told us it was, "sick and wrong". Just know that the prospect has been gaining popularity steadily.

What does your story have to do with a targeted spamming intrusion of a private user list on the net? Did you meet your wife as a random recipient of an offer of her favors as long as you are a loving person? If so, then I see the connection. If not, what is the connection? Why post in this thread?
