July Issue of Genii Now Arriving!
The July issue of Genii with master Escape Artist Alan Alan arrived at my house today (that's my regular polybagged copy like all of you receive), so I know that some of you have already received it and many of you will in the coming weeks.
It's a great issue, with new columns from Roberto Giobbi (on the Deck Switch) and Aaron Fisher (a new effect), and it also has a one-man Magicana from Shiv Duggal in addition to everything else.
I'm also pleased to announce that we've found a new mailing service for all of our foreign customers, which will commence with our August issue. All of our UK customers, in particular, should notice a huge difference in delivery service.

Mine arrived today, June 17th, in Seattle. I'm lucky to have gotten it - the plastic bag was open at the top and the magazine was hanging half-way out. Second time that has happened in recent months. Anyway, looks like a great issue, Richard!

Captain, my captain - Wrapped up nicely in my mailbox, here in Boston today. Always enjoyed Alan Alan's over-dramatic theatrics, since I first saw him on Copperfield's 2nd TV special. Can't wait to read the story.

I've always liked Alan alot: he's the last of a certain type of European showman and he very much deserves to have a retrospective cover story. Particularly when you compare the genuine peril into which he put himself with a lot of the wimpy [censored] that passes for "escapes" these days on TV.

Portland, OR. yesterday (6/16)....
Great Issue, I even like the ads and quite frankly read them all first!
I've noticed some of the pages feel like heavier paper? Not complaining, mind you, just a comment>

Arrived here on Friday, June 19.
NON-SUBSCRIBERS PLEASE NOTE: For a measly six bucks, you get Giobbi on the deck switch, and a lesson in cards to pocket by Aaron "the Baaron" Fisher.
And thanks to MM for the PHL tip.

The Alan Alan cover story was a good read containing good tips on showmanship, presentation and some magic theory.

Alan Alan.... ...hmmmm, do I.... ...no... ...Like Thumper had to say "If you don't have something nice to say, don't say nuthin' at all"
Fun watching him on Copperfield all those years ago though.
