Magician Starring in new documentary

Postby StuartMacDonald » June 10th, 2009, 12:07 pm

Magician and film maker Stuart MacDonald just released a new film that is getting lots of attention.

The movie "I Want to Look Like That Guy' is about one man's obsession (Stuart's obsession) to look like those guys in fitness ads. The movie is challenging advertisers who are selling products that will make us lose fat and have six pack abs. What Stuart uncovers is that it's all just an illusion.

Why would you refer to yourself in the third person?

Hey Stuart, where are you now in terms of body fat, working out, etc. Have you returned to a 'normal' lifestyle now, working out a few times a week, or what?

Yes I still workout. My bodyfat is about 20%. I'd like to lose 10 lbs but don't we all. I'm still just as strong as ever though and a lot happier with a few pounds on. Getting that lean is just not for normal joes like us.

Thanks for the reply Stuart - it is all very encouraging! I've been looking to get fit again and your story gives me a little motivation!
