What Show will Copperfield Do without Props?

Postby Richard Kaufman » September 19th, 2001, 11:43 am

According to magictimes.com, David Copperfield's props are unavailable at the moment--probably stuck in transit somewhere due to the terrorist attack. While the first four shows of his run in Vegas have been cancelled, he'll now fly out there and do a show with ... what?
Anyone care to speculate what kind of show it will be?

Richard:

I'm sure that David's Nevada warehouse has more than enough props to fill a show. Just think of all the illusions/effects from the Dreams & Nighmares tour that aren't in the current show -- The Deathsaw; The Fan; Grafitti Wall, Floating Rose; Granfather's Aces; Linking Finger Rings, etc...David's a magician...he'll certainly conjure something up. ;)

You forgot the obvious one...vanishing the Statue of Liberty (in front of the New York, New York casino.)

No need to speculate, Copperfield already performed a show last Monday with illusions from his previous tour (for the most part):

One, Head Mover, Graffiti Wall, Cocoon, dancing ties, Vertical Ashra, Little shoe, Moon interactive, Floating Rose, Slo-mo Duck, The Fan and Snow.

A true wonder of logistics indeed...Being able to perform an almost entirely different show in less than one week.

Seb.
