I'm going to be in NYC next Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for a bit. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what (magically) is going on there. Especially if there's a "Reuben's"-like gathering. Thanks a lot for any info

As far as Reuben's-type places, we've got two of 'em now. The first, called Cafe Rustico is a pizza place and is on 35th between 5th and 6th (closer to 5th). A couple of blocks away is Maui Tacos, on 5th between 32nd and 33rd. Folks generally meet at Rustico around noon. Some will then go over to Maui Tacos around 2:00, while others will stay at Rustico. You can generally find people at both places until about 6 or 7. I'm usually at Rustico from about 2:00 on.
