Re: Tracking down the history of a specific card-to-impossible location principle

I'm not sure if C.O. Williams original card to pocket predates the Homing Card but the part of the method you are interested in is the same.

The only difference between them is one of timing within the routine and when the spectators see the X card in the pocket.

Bannon's trick is actually based on Luke Dancy's "Royale With Cheese" which was released as a download through Penguin. Personally, I think Bannon's handling is the best version of this trick to date.

Re: Ultramodern III Kickstarter

You see alot of magicians on facebook setting up gofundme campaigns to recieve money for absolutely nothing. Tens of thousands of dollars raised and given to them with no return for the generous people who give. Just to be clear, I'm doing a kickstarter campaign to raise funds to print my next book....

I purchased some stuff from Busby before I knew all of the reasons not to deal with him. I bought the Secret of the Palmettos book, along with a few other books. Mosquito's Parade - The Lost Vernon Footage

Re: Who had first the idea to make a one-at-a-time assembly?

Some of Vernon's best known work seems to be attempts to do popular gaffed effects with regular cards. For example, Triumph is a regular deck version of an effect by Deland (Is Deland's trick called Inverto, Richard?) and Leipzig was also doing this gaffed deck version of the trick which Vernon undo...
