Jon, You are welcome but that is not the latest work. That was from 7 years ago. At that time, the gazing ball linked to above was not readily available. A solid ball is easily obtained. The question is "can you lift a solid 4 inch ball?". Such items can quickly smash a finger or foot. The...

Tom, My goal was certainly not to become "the first". Such things are of little concern to me. I was interested only in exploring something different with a floating ball. I can do it - so I experiment. Time consuming, yes, but such extra work is what what moves one beyond the common. Jim

Some of you might want to see how I was making such boxes in 2003. I have varied the methods slightly since then with the acquisition of additional machinery. The set shown had a plain Okito Box, a Boston Box, and a solid brass slug which matched the two boxes. All shared the same lid as the boxes w...

Re: WTB: Silver Dollar sized Okito Coin Box
Paul ; Mr. Miller brings up a good point. Whoever makes your dollar sized coin box will need to know if it is just for coins or is to also handle an expanded shell, recess in bottom, how many coins, etc. All of these affect the making of a box set (regular, Boston, slot, etc.). If a matched set is ...

As Herman Munster would say on the slot machine "I'm rich, I'm rich!". As on the slot machine, reality would soon set in and all of that imagined wealth would vanish. Greed is one thing, but one must wonder if the hopeful but delusioned seller has any touch with reality. Greed, if to be fu...

Folding a bill is not necessary for an effective bill change. I need to find a couple plastic bills to play with. One of the accessories I made for my previous holdout was for a bill switch using a rolled bill. Look at this as an opportunity for new development.

Someone was not too careful with the search when this patent was run through. Bert Easley used the lean in his drunk act long before Jackson was even born. The idea was not new then either.

You can always pick up three truck hub caps and do a cup and ball routine or convert one of the caps into a chop cup. These are the cup sized center hub caps. Many have the brand name on them. This brings in the brand sold by the dealer.

I like the slow and deliberate presentation. No fast moves. No banging on cups.
Cups and balls is a tough number to pull off on video due to the nature of the medium. You succeeded. Well done. Technique has improved vastly in this presentation.
