I just finished Shattering Illusions by Jammy Ian Swiss. Great book. I have crossed feelings and a lot of things to think about ... not only in my magic, it will has effects in my daily live.
It deserves read it another and another time always with a notebook at hand

Imodium could be a good option. It's better to eat in restaurants, not in street stalls. I recomend not to eat lettucce neither strawberrys out of home, if aren't properly desinfected are dangerous (all over the world). I lift the card, not slid it.
You can experiment:
-ribbon the cards at the table and lift the card.
-do a fan, or pass cards one hand to the other an when you locate your card, pinch the border separating them and 'slide' without touching themselves.

I tried with a magic marker and it seems to work fine. I think it burns at regular speed and normal flame, and works for me
I think topsmagic and madhatter sell D Robbins paper. Starlight has more colores.
