yeah stay away from technical crews and stuff. Might you try mentalism? packs small plays big and you don't necessarily need the technical support of a crew to pull off.

There isn't any midweek magic shows. The best thing in to hang out at Fantasmo. They have flyers for any shows that might be going on that I don't know about.
