Re: David & Dania……first lecture in France…what a shame !

Sven Schoppenhauer's book has been translated into English, and is easily available, if you want to know the basics of quick change.

I don't understand what is protectable about using glitter between the layers of a quick change, and/or what law would cover this.

Thanks for the warning, Yilou.

Re: Ted Lesley has passed away.

If you want to really understand what a trouper Ted was, when you watch the DVD's, bear in mind that the reason he was somewhat hesitant when he moved around was that he was in the beginning stages of Parkinson's, and his medications had not been adjusted properly. He did not let this get in the way...

If that was the 2003 lecture, it was part of an eight city tour. I drove him from Houston to San Antonio, to El Paso, Denver, Wichita, Fort Worth, Kansas City, Chicago, Ken Klosterman's Salon de Magie, and back to Houston. It was nearly 6,000 miles. During the trip, I got a chance to see how his cre...

Hmmm - does owning a copy of the Karma Sutra make one a great lover? No, but it might make one a creative speller. ;) All silliness aside, this can be answered by looking at the other art forms. Does being able to play 2 dozen 3-chord songs on a guitar make one a guitarist? Does painting a whole lo...
