Re: FrankenWarp - A Presentation for Card Warp
Obviously kings and jacks for the men and a queen for the woman work best. If I did this with jumbo cards for a stand up show, sure, that's what I'd do but that only provides you 4 performances per deck (4 queens). In reality I do a lot of table-hopping in a restaurant so, I've created a card-warp d...

Re: Ellusionist
"Revolutionary methods teach powerful street magic in hours" This is the part that scares me... Ellusionist clips certainly provoke a "Wow, I could do that in HOURS!!!" attitude. That is what ruins magic for the rest of us. People running around, screwing up a card warp presentat...

Re: Phoenix Cups and Balls - Are they worth the price
Jay, I agree. I'm keeping my Phoenix cups for the street etc.
I will admit however, when i put 4 red balls in a johnson cup and it nested perfectly I had to celebrate and have a beer.
If only I could produce a beer from a johnson cup (or a phoenix cup for that matter).

Re: Phoenix Cups and Balls - Are they worth the price
I see what you mean. Often I wish they would roll over and stand up without continuing the roll. This looks pretty cool, however it requires a touch that I have not mastered yet. It also depends on the surface you work on. I almost have to let it drop all the way to horozontal and let go to get them...

FrankenWarp - A Presentation for Card Warp
Below is my presentation for Roy Walton's Card Warp. I really liked Eugene Burger's presentation but I wanted to come up with my own. I posted it at the magic cafe and it was well received. I thought I'd post it here as well. The jokes/lines all come from the public domain. I've just strung a few to...

Re: Phoenix Cups and Balls - Are they worth the price
I got my Phoenix cups cheap off ebay. They are heavy but they don't nest well and attic space (as posted above) is limited. The attic cannot take 3 3/4 in balls. I ended up getting a cheaper set of johnson cups off ebay, as well. These nest like a dream. I think the max load is about the same for bo...

After 30 years I think its time for a new deck.Originally posted by Richard Kaufman:
A deck of ordinary playing cards has resided in my front trousers pocket since the age of 14: that would be 30 years. It is all I have ever carried. :)
It has never let me down.
