I like Dean Dill's Coins, glass, and silk. It does require a table, but I thought I'd mention it, anyway. :)

Jeff, great point. If Brosnan played Bond the way he played his character in The Fourth Protocol then he'd be much closer to the "real" Bond. But what audience wants to see that? We want explosions and cars and action and stupid lines. By the way, I agree with Mark Ennis about Ricky Jay.

Mark Ennis makes good points about the Darwin Ortiz torn and restored card from Cardshark. I like that routine, too. I like the Williamson Torn & Restored Transposition, too.

Gary Kurtz' Hypothetical Possibilities is a sort of Ambitious Card effect with a time travel theme, ending with a card previously placed in the wallet changing to the selected card. Very cool. I wish I'd though of it.

Harold, it sounds to me like ALL of your magic is good, since you constantly get requests to do more. And I still think it's up to the magician to say "when," in those social situations. I wasn't kidding in my first post, when I said to do one more and then say "ok, that's it for now....

I'll have to read that Peter Samuelson piece. If that's the case, then I have come up with quite a bit of stuff. The comparison to musical notes is a good one...but some composers have sued others for "stealing" melodies. :p

My thoughts, for what they are worth, and most likely nothing---the "take" hand--for me the right hand---should be very convincing. The audience should believe the coin was "in" that hand, then it is gone..then not in the left hand, then they don't know what to think...if the aud...
