For the final transformations, I love how Tommy walked over to the pile of Sevens, putting himself between the cards and the goofy, knuckle-walking host, who obviously planned to examine the cards. Tommy finished the effect, grabbed the cards and spirited them away. Bravo!

I’m surprised that no one has commented on the first episode. So, here are my two cents. The judges are Penn & Teller, Jason Latimer and Christen Gerhart. The first three magicians are well known and I respect them. But who in the hell is Christen Gerhart? She is billed as a famous magic critic....

I only buy printed books. The ebooks that I own were given to me as gifts from author friends, or sent to me for review. I won't pay for one.

And I detest downloads and one-trick DVDs. They constitute little more than a symptom of the "creator's" laziness, cheapness or illiteracy.
