Re: Framework

Hi guys,

I just received word that the printer is supposed to ship the books to me on Thursday, the 17th. So hopefully I'll have them in my hands by the middle of next week.

Stay tuned...

Re: Framework

Richard,

Beats me. I let Charlie Randall handle the printer. That's a good thing. Given my current seething rage over the delay, if I knew the identity of the printer and the sales rep, I would have already spiked their cranberry sauce with LSD. And that would only result in further delays.

Re: Framework

Hi guys, Great lashings of steaming crap! The latest word from the printer is that the book should be printed by December 17. The sales rep offered no explanation for the delay other than stating that they were experiencing a very busy quarter. How nice for them. So hopefully it will be available in...

Re: Magic in BoingBoing

The Thing is one of my favorite horror films. It is truly “a thing of terrifying beauty.” In 2010, Peter Watts wrote a terrific short story called The Things . In 2011, it was nominated for the Hugo Award and the Theodore Sturgeon Award. It tells the tale from the creature’s point of view! The stor...

Hi guys, After resolving a few minor issues with the printer, it appears that the book will still be available in mid-November. I received the November issue of MUM that contains “Spellermental” and Mike Close’s review of the book. I’m quite pleased. So SAM members, keep your eyes peeled. Thanks aga...

Re: Return of a Controversial Blog

Andy's blog is terrific. I read it every day and enjoy it immensely. But $260.00 is too high a price to pay for one book and whatever extras he's offering. I pay less than that per year for subscriptions to Genii, MAGIC, The Linking Ring and MUM. . So, as a gesture of my thanks and support for his i...
