Re: Real Secrets Trick of the Month Club...

I should add that companies pay a lot of money to get the kind of feedback expressed in this thread. It is called a focus group. They are getting it for free. Indeed. I have expressed skepticism but that doesn't mean I'm not on the fence about subscribing. I would like to think that the reason the ...

Re the notice in Life Savers, it hasn't stopped anyone from performing the material and has never been enforced that I'm aware of. Agreed. I am only reminded of it because it seemed to be exploring the boundaries of accepted practices. I feel the notice should have been on the outside of the book a...

Re: Real Secrets Trick of the Month Club...

I think it's fair to have skepticism. They won't reveal who they are. There is very little information about what is being offered. I suspect that at the end of the year the value won't exceed that of a decent magic book (or a year of Genii) but costs three times the price. I could be wrong but the ...

Re: Question Re: Japanese Performers at the Magic Castle March 4 through 11

Try to get there early enough to see a close-up show before dinner. At dinner, you will get tickets to see the 8:30 Palace show. Ticketed guests are let in before non-ticketed guests. After the Palace show, you might be able to exit the Palace and go directly into the Palour show.
Good luck!

Re: Question Re: Japanese Performers at the Magic Castle March 4 through 11

If it fits your schedule, I would recommend that you go early on a Monday or Tuesday night. If you get there 30 minutes before the first close-up show, there's a good chance you could see a close-up, parlor and the Palace show and still be on your way home before 10pm. If you go later in the week an...

How can you say this isn't a pitch for cash? Nothing wrong with trying to sell your product but stop saying that isn't what you're trying to do. You start by saying "Before I start, I don't want anyone to think this is advertising." and then post a link to buy your product. You can't under...

Damian,

You can put the glue in a hydrogen peroxide bottle and apply it openly with a cotton ball under the pretext of sterilizing your arm. I believe that is how Harry Anderson did it.
