Re: Getting Bodies into Seats At Criss Angel: Believe

It's interesting to hear this argument with broadway shows. For years many of us have argued over things like sponge balls. Is Phantom the sponge ball routine of broadway? Eugene makes a great point when he says, "This is a point where art and commerce clash." Yeah, we can get people to sc...

Re: Getting Bodies into Seats At Criss Angel: Believe

I've seen the bodies exhibit. They've been stripped of their skin, some of their organs, dismembered and placed in bizarre poses all for our amusement. Haven't they been through enough without being associated with that trainwreck called Believe?

This is huge! I saw Mark and Jinger last year in A.C. and while I really love their show, I missed Hobson from the show years ago. I'm sure I'll make at least one trip down to see them this summer.

You're right on both counts Marsh. Eric was my favorite, although I'm not sure how that routine played for laymen on TV. They really should do close-up close-up with spectators like WGM did. I was a bit disappointed with Doc, but I guess he did the bet thing he could in that atmosphere. Now, on WGM ...

I had a great time at the convention. I regret missing some of the events due to just hanging out with friends. Thanks for that Brad. This really needs to get out to the general public. Who wants to PAY to be insulted by this jerk? Mike Close said it best last year after his run in with Norm Clarke; "He's gonna have to watch his mouth next year when he's back in Jersey doing kid birthday parties."

I would assume David is different than the other big names. Essentiall, he's touring and just brings the show into Vegas. Lance, P&T, Angel and the rest are all at their "house" gig and are in that group that is suffering big time. Is this right Richard?

Shimshi's a great performer, and it's a real shame to read this and see that he's not working as much as he should. I very often have spectators say, "What are you doing here, you should be in Vegas." Of course, I'm nothing great, it's just that they've never seen any one do half decent cl...

I just watched this last night and was just enthralled with it. It's a beautiful story with just breathtaking images. It does seem that Petit was well versed in other allied arts. Juggling, riding a unicycle, pick pocketing and some nice manipulation with cigarettes and cards are all seen in the mov...
