Have you tried contacting A-1 themselves. I'm sure that they would be more than happy to provide you with a letter confirming that what you have is a pirate copy. He gave a good lecture a couple of weeks ago at Eastbourne (IBM British ring).

It was pretty trick-centric, but had some nice ideas. The cover of the notes were specific to Eastbourne, but as Brian says, the contents may have been identical.

He made no mention of new DVDs.
