I can't imagine how this would work!? you do need to know how many cards were taken in the first cut. I can now figure out a method to do this, but still not exactly as initially described ... The deck is on the table, spec 1 takes half the deck and places it in pocket Spec 2 takes half the remaind...

The only magician I've seen produce an object that was actually larger the cup it came out of is Paul Gertner.
In addition to the giant steel ball, he added a couple of more items for THIS PERFORMANCE.

Daryl’s specific contribution was the presentation that justified each and every action of the routine. I’ve seen a lot of people do the trick and they miss parts of it. The finest cut stripper deck I ever had was a Bicycle deck which I purchased at a grocery store.

I avoid doing any magic effect that utilizes a technological device, which in it's normal everyday use, does things that are more amazing than the trick I am doing with it.
Therefore, I would also be inclined to avoid using any patter that makes an allusion to such devices.
