Danny Dew was probably emulating the Vernon Routine for 6CR by using a holdout instead of loose in the sleeve.

Corrie, Thanks for the MC reference. Actually, some great ideas concerning the sleight. Here's the way I want to perform it. Thumb fan and cards held in left hand only. Card appears in center of fan underneath. No "waggling". Thanks again.

Thanks, Marko, but the one I need requires no gaff. Also the card doesnt glide out but pops out. If that requires a gaff Im not aware of it. Del Ray used it.

Hi,I'm trying to find a reference to the old gag where a card pops out of a fan during a selection. Can I get some help on this? I have a fairly substantial library which might help but no idea about the location of this flourish.

Recently purchased a block of Bikes at Costco. A little soft but the finish is pretty nice for fanning and manip. Also they all come with a colored Joker.

Recently I purchased a block of jumbo index Bikes at Costco and not very happy with them. Found them too soft with hardly any snap. In fact most cards from Costco I have found seem too soft.

As I recall he performed Brainwave with a deck production. His presentation was immaculate. In my opinion he performed as a MAGICIAN. With all of his success at the time I found it to be a downer after hearing the statement.

True story. Harry Jr. was doing a Mike Douglas show. Mike asked him if ever had any regrets about becoming a magician. Harry told him that if he could start over again he would have never become a magician. Shocking.
