Re: Question: Larry Jennings - Thoughts on Cards (Special Edition)

Him flooring Earl Nelson with card up spectators sleeve was classic. The Private Lesson DVD he also got Louis Falanga pretty good with that coins thru hand bit he did. I bet he fooled alot of magicians.

Re: Double lift mistake

I don't mean to brag but I developed a touch grabbing to cards by the upper an lower left sides of the cards using my forefinger and thumb. I can tell if its two or three cards. It was something I practiced over and over again going thru the deck several times each time out. I learned it that way wh...

Re: Tricks using color changes

How about tips on executing the move. I cant seem to just simply wave my hands doing the move like Bill Malone does it. So I have just been doing slap changes and Erdnase which don't look as magical. I've been practicing plenty I'm starting to think my hands just aren't right for it.

Re: patters

I get patter ideas from paranormal books like Witchcraft or native american mythology books. I found good stuff to say about sympathetic effects, which i thought I'd never find or think of, other than just saying "what happens here happens there" type of scripts.

Re: Criss Angel

He still fools the crap out out of lay audeinces tho. And why is everybody doggin on him anyways? Is it cause he got all popular and all the haters didn't. If it weren't for him there would been no interest in people buying magic books, magazines and instructional DVD's from other good magicians tha...

I think Atlantic City would be best for him. I dont think theres room for two prime time magicians, even though he's way better performer than Criss Angel.

Re: Magic shops in Phoenix/Sedona, AZ?

What i like about barry is he's old school type. What i mean by that is he wont let the average joe in on everything till he knows that you know "what" your doing. Which is all good for me because phoenix and arizona dont have much to offer as far as magicians and places where magic is per...
