Re: WTB: Martin Nash Sleightly Second

Emailed Hades several times over the years and never had a single reply.

It's a real shame that these are not going to be incorporated into one hardback volume. It obviously would have been a fitting legacy.

Re: Riffle Shuffle Work Using The Triumph Shuffle

Mr. Ben, Many thanks for uploading your video and sharing your thoughts. I can only echo what Kent has said above. Pearls before swine. When is the magic community likely to see your writings on the Stevens Cull (which I believe is to form part of a larger volume on Stevens and Riffle work...?) hit ...

Re: effect of economic depression

Right now the only people that I can see clearly benefiting from this global economic depression are extreme right wing free-marketeers who seek to dress up their soul-destroying and mind-numbingly simplistic pseudo-Darwinist aphorisms as good news for all.

Re: If you buy only one magazine this month ...

Off the top of my head I seem to recall that that was Michael Ammar or Gary Ouellete's' patter not Vernon's and that they were duly admonished by Vernon for giving the game away by using the psychological workings of the trick as it's actual presentation. I might be wrong though.

Re: History Of The Knock-Out Double Lift

Minch was not the publisher and doesn't own the rights to the Nash books. They were published by Mickey Hades, and his son Brian has been promising to reprint them for years. No news there. Over the last few years I've emailed them several times about the possibility of a reprint, never had any rep...

History Of The Knock-Out Double Lift

For those of you who have The Castle Notebooks Volume 3, doesn't Cervon's description of the Vernon Double Lift 6/2/66 (page 20) predate the Nash Knock-Out Double lift and other variants?

Re: Larry Jennings New Book?

Richard, I know that this may qualify as probably the most anal/obsessive question on the forum but I was wondering about the process involved in putting a book together of a posthumous artist's work. More specifically, as particular sleights are suited to particular hands (skin type, size etc) and ...

Re: JIMMY GRIPPO

It's not just the superlative magic, what I love about the footage is the way Grippo remains totally and utterly in control. He dominates the proceedings even in the face of the mighty Orson Welles' subtle attempts to outrank him (and even when the host asks to shuffle the stack...). He's completely...

Yes, I was told that Sebastien Clergue is involved deep in production for another artist. As the Bebel book was expected several years ago, I was wondering whether his new job meant that he was on indefinite sabbatical from the project.
