Re: Card Craft

Thank you for the correction Oliver. I was not aware of the difference between "Printing" and "Edition." You also answered my question as to why the Dover reprint of Expert Card Technique is not the third edition containing the Vernon/Daley material. I haven't purchased the Dover...

Re: Card Craft

Not necessarily David. If Richard reprints Card Craft--you will have the first edition. I will have the second. First editions are always more valuable and sought after by collectors. The Sun shines for everyone my friend. :)

Re: Card Craft

Exactly Richard, now hop off that fence and kindly reprint Card Craft for the rest of us who missed that train on the first station.

Re: Select Secrets....the search continues....

Thanks again for your response Tom. I mailed a paper letter to Mr. Greget since you didn't include his e-mail in your post reply. My letter included my e-mail address so I hope he utilizes that to get in touch with me. I also called and left a message on his answering machine. Thanks for the Canick ...

Re: Select Secrets....the search continues....

Thanks for your help Tom. You are about as determined to see me find this manuscript as I am! I will call Mr. Greget this evening to found out if he has a spare copy. My search is now veering from Chicago to the deserts of Arizona! It's beginning to feel like Vernon's famed search for the legendary ...

Select Secrets....the search continues....

So far I've tried Magic Inc. and was told that Vernon's Select Secrets is out of print. I also tried Ash's Magic and was met on the phone by a lady who had difficulty distinguishing Select Secrets from from the Inner Secrets Trilogy. Richard Hatch from H&R Magic Books in Texas has pulled miracle...

"FOOL-ABILITY"? You mean "deceptiveness" Ben. I also agree with you-Denny is great and very patient over the phone. ;)

Re: Michael Ammar Cups & Balls - Book & Videos

I purchased Volume 2 of Michael Ammar's Cups and Balls Video and found it to be quite worthwhile. Intermediate magicians can certainly learn items from this video such as the Vernon/Mora Wand Spin Vanish and the helpful hints on the Final Loading sequences. The real treasures on this and the first v...

Re: CARD COLLEGE vols. 5 & 6

I personally would have enjoyed seeing Dr. Daly's Strike Double Lift and the Kelly Bottom Placement included somewhere in Card College.

Re: BEST MAGIC SHOP award goes to...

Speaking of your products Mr. Biro, I purchased a set of red Pete Biro crochet balls for my cups from Denny and Lee and their are really nice. Can you also make a set in white? Denny told me you don't but I had to ask you any way. I plan to buy another back up set soon because they are sewn absolute...

Dai Vernon's Select Secrets

Does anyone out there have a copy of Dai Vernon's Select Secrets they wouldn't mind parting with?

Re: BEST MAGIC SHOP award goes to...

I'll vouch for Barry's Magic shop up here in Wheaton, Maryland. Barry is a fantastic guy and a great magician/demonstrator. He stocks just about every available book and even carries/still has the smaller pamphlets and books that are way out of print and currently unavailable such as the Garcia book...

Re: See through Genii good or bad ?

I think see through bags are a bad idea for Genii because the cover can be seen and curious people can rummage through it. I remember a roommate who subscribed to Playboy and it cam in a dark tinted polybag. The polybag is still fragile but at least the cover is obscured.
