Re: May Genii in the mail!

A young magician from Korea Mr Choi won all the top prizes in the close-up competition at the Irish convention last weekend.

I have no doubt you will see him at the international conventions over the next couple of years.

It's nice to see a close-up act getting a standing ovation.

How someone adds something, smooths the effect, simplifies the handling or sometimes confuses the effect. Studying the evolution of methodologies can help you...

Re: Setting the Record Straight and Crediting

And let us not forget that Billy McComb came up with the idea of using thicker thread (or yarn) so the effect was more visible on stage.

Re: The May issue of Genii

Richard, I'm sure the May issue will be terrific. I still have not received the March or April issues and I am an airmail subscriber. Another Irish magician received the April issue two weeks ago. What is so wrong with your dispatcher that they can't put an AIRMAIL sticker on with the address label?...

Re: NEMO 1500 /Ken Brooke/johnny Thomson

I well remember when NEMO 1500 first came out. It was called that because Ken Brooke felt it was worth 1500 to a working performer. The original price was 20, which with inflation would be at least 200 sterling today. I was fooled badly when I first saw it. It truly is a terrific effect if you SELL ...
