Most importantly, talk to your insurance agent about what policies they offer and compare them with the one size fits all magi-policies. Business liability insurance, even for performers, is not extremely expensive. Health insurance, well, that's another matter altogether....

I got Mnemonica in about 2.5 hours, just like Minch and Tamariz promised. Now if I shave off the first 2 hours and 30 minutes I'll be in the game.

I saw the Lewis watch trick also - outstanding. One of the funniest gags / setups I've seen in a long time.

I briefly went through the instructions in his Mardo bag as well as Martin's Miracles but didn't see the trick included. Does anyone know if its on his Egg Bag DVD?

I ran through the exercises for the first time and I am amazed! My hands felt so limber and loose that I checked my typing speed as a baseline and it was 15% higher than I've ever acheived before. Now I'm off to try some passes...

I've purchased a lot of magic from Mr. Ash as I've passed through Chicago and I've always been very happy with the results. He's also one genuinely nice guy.

One suggestion, regardless of the method you use. Make sure the mouse/hamster is well handtrained. I learned the hard way that those little snots can bite the daylights out of you if they are caught off guard.

I used a combination of the visual and conceptual methods. I had the deck memorized in a little less than 3 hours. I think magic is yet another way for people to communicate at a deeper level than mere words allow.

This definition, of course, can apply to many things, including art, music, or even the act of two people holding hands.

Magic is one of the many ways for people to connect.
