Mark, absolutely, I do not have the same at stake as yourself; and in no way do I mean to trivialize your concern, only to focus your efforts. This horse has left the gate long ago, and you are not the first to point it out or attempt to change it. What it may mean to the professional is perhaps a r...

Thanks, Max and Joe. I wonder if Letterman's writers provided that "ad lib." Or even Teller himself. Or maybe it's just a comic opportunity that can't be resisted.

YouTube exists to get views on their videos. You are simply making the case for her as to the desirability of the product. Without the threat of legal action--which is impossible in this kind of thing--you have nothing. Sorry, but that's what the platform is about. Her allegiance is to her stockhold...

Orson Welles foresaw the eventual death of magic in 1947... Uh...I think over seventy years later, dear Orson will have to declare a statute of limitations on that prediction. Hasn't happened yet. Which reminds me of the following: A lecturing astronomy professor says to his class that in 175 trill...

Ralph, it would help if you gave us the context of your performing. Are these informal performances for friends? And what age are you and your audience approximately?

Well, I am glad that I am preceded by others more brave on this. I was hesitating to be the first to post a negative comment. I find it unwatchable. Lots of good performers, and it's nice for them to get the work, but I actually wonder if this particular exposure actually does them any good. I guess...

I'm enjoying this first issue. It's a large-sized (about the size of Genii , but a bit wider) nicely bound quality paperback format, with lots of clear black and white photos. It's all cards, with appealing plots. I like the effects that were mentioned in the post above. Other of my favorites includ...

Mike Douglas was a nice guy. I don't know if his afternoon talk show ever went national. He broadcast out of Philadelphia if I recall, and he would have a co-host for the whole week. And the co-hosts would sometimes be big names like John Lennon. He was a crooner and an amiable softball interviewer....

Better to size up the spec and give each color an attribute (e.g. love, anger, honesty, sexiness, confusion, intelligence) with the required color given the attribute they would most likely choose.

Does Doug Henning in The Magic Show count? I'm not sure how long he was starring in the show before he was replaced, but I think it was at least a year and a half, which would make it at least 600 performances for a normal Broadway schedule.
