Re: Kaufman and Company Publishing Schedule for 2017
Of course there are still young magicians who care about Jennings and his material. Are they in the majority? No, certainly not. But the ones who truly study an art form are never in the majority. (If we're going to paint people with as broad strokes as that we might as well just say that all magic...

Re: Dealt - Richard Turner documentary
Here's their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/dealtmovie/?fref=ts I believe they'll be distributing the movie both through streaming and DVD, and I have also heard about them shooting some new instructional footage with Richard Turner that will be available separately. As the project was crow...

Re: Dealt - Richard Turner documentary
They have mentioned aiming for a release this summer, but that's all I've heard. I believe they managed to record more footage than they had originally planned for which meant a delay in the editing phase.

Re: Great Fred Kaps Video in Genii Speaks
It's a long long story. If it would have happened, Mike Caveney was to have been the publisher. Plans were made, but life gets in the way (not on Mike's part). I understand if it's too time consuming to write a post about, but what exactly are the obstacles here that is hindering a book being writt...

Re: Genii Has a New Owner, and The Chief Genii Remains
Congratulations, Richard! I'm glad to hear you'll remain as editor. Will this mean more time for books for you, or will you still be putting as many hours into Genii work as before?

Re: Larry Jennings New Book?
Is that for "Takes it Easy" or "Takes it Slow"? I'd assume it was for the second book of the trilogy, but I seem to recall that one being finished except for the photographs, so I'd better ask to be sure. Either way - I look forward to them both like a kid looks forward to Christ...

Hi Richard,
Do you have an update on the next Jennings book(s)? Looking forward to it, whenever it'll be released.

Re: Become a Magic Book Publisher! The SEQUEL: Rosenthal Coi
I see, thank you for the update. Hopefully someone will take up this offer, would be a shame to leave it unwritten. (I'd take it on myself, but with a student's income that's not possible, and I'm positive there are others out there who would do a much better job.)

Re: Become a Magic Book Publisher! The SEQUEL: Rosenthal Coi
Stumbled across discussions on books of Harvey's material which led me here. Has there been any progress made with this project yet?

If I'm not mistaken Chris Kenner is somewhat of a mentor to Moritz, so I think he has a very bright future in magic if he just sticks around.

Any chance you think the market is ready for a reprint of The Vernon Touch yet, Richard? I'm still losing sleep over having missed out on this one.
Re: ERDNASE
Brad, you probably haven't been keeping up on the literature of this whole thing, but yes, Erdnase did read magic books--there are a number of items which appear in the book that are clearly taken from earlier magic texts. Some of the ideas have been improved, such as the Diagonal Palm Shift, but o...

Re: FISM 2018 - Helsinki, Finland ?
Except when measured with any sort of common measure systems that are used we tend to be ahead of Sweden in most of em. Except, perhaps, in modesty. ;-) Thanks, Tom. This made my day. :D I would've preferred a trip to Helsinki rather than Busan in 2018 as the latter adds at least $1000 to my travel...
