Curious to know how the book is progressing? The website still mentions Mid-December as the completion date. I am looking forward to this book.

I think some of the disconnect is when an amateur performs in an amateur setting to people they are around frequently might need to use different techniques, setups, & premises than a professional performing in a professional setting.

I got one off of the Facebook marketplace and the other from Denny. Just keep your eyes open, they don't come up too often. I've only seen 3 in the last couple years.

Re: Favorite Coin Routines

While on the subject of coin magic here is a little known tip on the French Drop. Instead of keeping the left hand still MOVE it towards the right hand when doing the move. This will make it twice as deceptive. Retention of vision or some such thing I suppose. Or an optical illusion or whatnot. I h...

Thanks Brad, CARC is a great recommendation. I learned of their existence via Google books, I have enjoyed reading about magicians of the time period. It feels a little like Caveney's Classic Correspondence.

I thought it was a great lecture. I could tell he was tired, but he is a constant professional. I was glad to see how much he had recovered and it hasn't seemed to effect his memory. If you haven't seen the lecture it is worth it. I would also like to add that Dan Harlan did an amazing job hosting.
