Re: Coin in Vue Lighter
One sold on ebay in 2008. That is the only record I found of an ebay sale in searching auction history sites. The one that was sold was a Chesbro Coin in Lighter with routines by Jeff Busby. The auction search site did not list any other auctions that had sold one.

Re: Watch face card glimpse
I did some research on the above post. John Cornelius' watch band glimpse is found in the Magic of John Cornelius on Page 9 and is called Moonshine Locations. I have also found that the end of the bent clip of the money clip can be bent adequately such that just the clip end can be used for a glimpse.

Re: Watch face card glimpse
I am sure that every glimpse/glim device known to man has been documented somewhere. But, in searching for a small knife to keep in my pocket to open card decks, I came across a combined money clip/knife/finger nail file which has a very shiny surface. It works great as a shiner/glim since I have a ...

Re: Watch face card glimpse
I found the answer right after I posted this. Linking Ring Vol. 82. No. 10, page 94 by Dennis Marks, the Movado Miracle. I found the reference in Nathan Kranzo's book, The Peek Book.
Thanks,
Roy

Watch face card glimpse
I am looking for a reference to getting a card glimpse using a reflective watch face. Specifically, the reference (of course I can't remember the name of the reference) referred to using a Movado watch face for getting a glimpse. I remember reading it by cannot locate where I read it. Thanks, Roy

Does anyone favor Ivory finish decks? I tend to like them myself.

Re: Wired: Women In Magic
I think there may be hesitation to respond due to a fear of any response being perceived as sexist if a differentiation is made in the approach between boys and girls. But, I will jump in based on my limited experience with elementary school children at play. Nothing I say is meant to suggest or imp...

Re: Wired: Women In Magic
I think that getting the right theme with an appealing storyline is important. Its not just the color, its the whole package. For better or worse, in general, U.S. girls like fairies and unicorns (ponies). A magic set with that theme would attract young girls. Even better would be a tie into a telev...

Re: Wired: Women In Magic
The only conclusion I draw from my personal experience is that there is some inherent difference in what boys prefer vs. what girls prefer. I can't generalize it to all girls like pink or all boys like magic. But, there is, at least in my family of triplets, a difference in preferences and behavior ...

Re: Wired: Women In Magic
I have 6 year old triplets. ( Women typically respond "How wonderful." Men typically respond "I'm sorry for you." either verbally or by their expressions.) Two boys and one girl. I can tell you, at least based on my limited experience, that there are definite differences in what ...

Re: Is it helpful to fiddle with cards while working?
From the article - Some people find simple solutions to complex problems while playing playing with set of interlocking rings . It seemed to work for me and I was really close to the final solution to cheap and available Cold Fusion power when my co-workers complained that the constant ringing and b...

I experimented with similar materials. You can make your own from magnetic iron oxide powder, silly putty (dimethyl siloxane), and silicone oil. Making your own allows you to adjust the strength of attraction. It can be used for PK effects with light weight materials just like the PK putty that is s...

Another vote for Tony's Peek Wallet. If Tony makes it then it is worth owning. His products are very focused on practical use. He makes them himself and the quality (and creativity) is outstanding. And his customer service is the finest I have ever encountered.

Re: Our first commercial.
Ah, Mr. Gunn obviously has refined musical tastes. Tony was kind enough ( or possibly brave enough) to use my band for the background music. In spite of that, the product still sold. Just shows you how great the Mobius is.
