if you turn off the internet (drop into airplane mode) you will not get hung up at 72%. But as Richard has suggested, delete the app and download the issues in the new version. it works just as well with only a few missing features.

another thing i noticed about the performance and i wonder if it was intentional. No attempt was made to bring Howard Stern into the mix. He stood up so he could see over the other heads. Also Howie Mandel is a self proclaimed germophobe. Ending with the pen and the nose seemed childish to me, but t...

I work in education (curriculum development) and one of the things we stress is that even as technology progresses, nothing beats a chalk board to get a point across. In my environment, we actually use a white board, but issues have come up when the markers run dry. Chalk doesn't have that problem.

What is her point? I don't see it in the transcript. Apparently she's met some magicians who bring their performing character on dates or worse, home. Ah, Silverman is cast in the movie with NPH ... Now the connection to magic is clear. While NPH may not be her source material, she does tap into th...

I used to use jabber. It was an attempt to be a master console of all the instant messaging clients at the time. AOL's IM, yahoo's IM, ICQ etc. You sign in with jabber and have all your contacts in one place and you didn't care what network they were on.

Lastly, I was trying to figure out a way to mark a piece of foam core bored without having a visual marking, I'm trying to figure out some sort of invisible marking that I can put on it to be able to feel it. Not sure how many here have heard of the 1-9-90 rule... Basically it's that 1 percent create, 9 percent contribute in some form, and the remaining 90 percent are just consumers. Question for the discussion: with the difference in the number of members here vs there, do you think the 1990 rul holds u...

You, I and many other have a very strong opinions.. and we have the sarcastic gene. But to tell the truth about someone with the facts and to be banned from that from a silly message board, is inane. I think every message board is silly, because all of the topics will fade into the past and become ...

There's a chance that Google didn't take the player out of their iOS app as a way to get flash onto the device. Perhaps they couldn't be bothered. Also, I think there's a subtle difference between Shockwave and Flash. I think Aguilar would know more details on that. You misunderstand the dynamics. ...

Apple doesn't support flash, but there are other browsers out there that do. Google chrome on ipad2 renders flash. Minor technical point -- Chrome on iPad does not support Flash.
