Sad news. Met Bill a few times and he was always gracious as a person and of course outstanding as a magician. My condolences to his family and friends.

Re: Video of Roth's Standup Copper/Silver Classic?
I am currently at about 90% reliability with dollar-size coins. The question I have with the description in Coinmagic is the palm up display with the hands angled inward. I'm not sure how this is supposed to look. How high are the hands? Are the hands tilted down so the spectators can better see th...

Re: Magic Library Books
I eventually purchased almost all of the books on magic that I used to check out as a kid when my library consolidated its branches. Some of my favorite titles were Joseph Leeming's Fun with Magic and More fun with Magic , Walter Gibson's The Master Magicians , Paul Curry's Magicians Magic and my ab...

Not going to debate about whether or not ESP is real or not, but I find it odd to use a fictional character as an example of it's existence.

I don't personally think changing the adhesive used would warrant crediting at all. I'd go with the Braue reference unless someone comes up with something earlier.

Brad, many thanks! Although it's definitely not where I first encountered this, I have and can check the Giobbi books. The word "tapestry" strikes a chord and sounds familiar to me and now I think it might have been in Apocalypse where I first saw this. I can check there as well.

Credit help
Looking for a credit for an effect I knew years ago. The basic methodology involves a face down 16 card grid (4x4 layout). One card is turned face up in each row. This is apparently random but actually it is not. The spectator picks one of the outside rows or columns and it is flipped over onto the ...

That's correct. Unfortunately, the only one I remember is the one that I bought which was a squared circle. I replaced the front cut out piece as the cut out was their two overlapping mountains logo. It turned out pretty nice. They did have a correspondence course. This was around 1976 as I received...

Three earlier streams of testimony can be found here:
https://livestream.com/wildabouttrial/events/8158079
The earliest one, marked "David Copperfield Trial Day 1 Part 2" is particularly interesting as it basically outlines DC's defense (it starts about the 8 minute mark).

Nowadays, self publishing usually means that you do all the writing, layout and possibly the photos and or illustrations. It can also mean going to the copy shop and having copies of your document printed and bou...
