Does anyone know if Joel Brook’s High Caliber Magic is still going? The website is no longer functional. Any contact information for him?

I'd be curious to find out about this too as I also have lost Laid Back Two: Rough Cut and a couple of John Carney purchases (although like stated above JC preempted the problems with that)

Re: Anthony Brahams R.I.P.
Sad news indeed. My thoughts are with his family. Leo, you are correct. Anthony and I discussed doing a book of Brian’s magic. Anthony suffered a stroke shortly after our initial conversations and he gladly passed the baton to me as he wasn’t in a position to do the work himself. Since then life got...

Re: Worthwhile Kickstarter Campaign for Great Chop Cup Set Done with Dice Cups and Dice
Wish I’d seen the latest developments in this thread a little earlier today. As it is, today I decided enough was enough. I’ve been very patient. I’ve tried contacting Dave through a number of channels, all without success. I’m no longer interested in receiving this product. So today I contacted my ...

Re: One Man's View of The Hollingworth Collection
I have received the set but not yet had the chance to sit down and go through it. After reading the comments in this thread about the sound sync issues and lack of specific trick/explanation menus for the original videos I am somewhat disappointed. I transferred my original copies from VHS to DVD so...

Is the colour changing deck routine which precursors the card case changing on the Magic Castle video included with the instructions for C4?

Re: Not the Best Review for Penn & Teller
FWIW I saw the show in London a few years ago and the recent show. Whilst I enjoyed the show on the whole my view of it was that the classic pieces were the most enjoyable for me. The newer pieces didn't quite work for me. They were OK but were clearly in need of more stage time. I think on reflecti...

Pit Hartling will be holding a 4-5 hour workshop on memorised deck magic on Tuesday 27th May in Manchester, England. This rare event will see Pit share much of his previously unreleased memorised deck material along with tricks and tips on working with a memorised deck. Pit has also offered to teach...

Pete,
I believe the answer to your query can be found over at the big green place.
BTW, have you tried optically clear silicon tape on the sticker side of the coins. Makes them handle like a dream!

Martin

Erdnasephile makes a great point about the workshop format. This is something I recently organised for a small group of 12 to experience with Greg Wilson as the lecturer/workshop leader. We each paid £50, Greg got a decent fee and we all came away feeling we'd more than got our money's worth. This w...

Re: Looking for: Tommy Wonder Card Box
Gary,
The box looks very nice. Do you know if the hinge allows the loose movement of the lid that aids the deception when "tipping the card out of the box", as Tommy's own version of the box used a silk hinge.
Regards,
Martin.

This looks interesting. It's always good to get an experienced pro's take on something. Sometimes a single tip or subtlety is worth the price of a lecture (or in this case an ebook).

Harry Robson's Hands Off Wallet (HOW) would be excellent for a credit card and the reveal can be done entirely by the spectator.
