Within the last couple of years, Magick Bailey, a Fantasmo demonstrator performed this effect and put his hand thru the spike. A few weeks later, Simon Lovell, did likewise in his show at the Soho playhouse. Gary Kurtz did it. Some U.K. magician put a spectator's hand thru the spike. I am curious if...

Actually reading books is a shortcut to knowledge. Otherwise one woul have to reinvent the wheel.

Yes people react negatively in this situation. Some stranger shows up wanting to do magic tricks isn't exactly too inviting. "Want to see a magic trick?" is probably not a good opening line.

Yes they found this paddle move in an ancient text buried next a almost complete skeleton of a T-Rex. Oddly enough Dai Vernon is credited in the ancient text as the inventor.

nothing wrong with a topless magic show. At least no one is hiding whatever up their bra, which many male magicians do.
