Recollections of Robert-Houdin
Does anyone have one of these 25 copies of Burt Sperbers reprint (under his A Real Miracle imprint, Malibu, CA, 2000) of William Mannings Recollections of Robert-Houdin (25 copies versus 205 copies)? I' love to at least see a picture of it. I'd also be curious who owns one of the original 205 editio...

Re: Displaying your collectable playing cards
Richard let me ask you, You collect Disney posters, correct? Do you display them behind UV protected glass? What is different here with expensive decks of cards? This system not only protects them but gives you a way to display them creatively. How is that bad? Please respond, otherwise I might thin...

Displaying your collectable playing cards
A good friend of mine, Brian Foshee has just created a Kickstarter campaign for a new product that will revolutionize the card collecting market! Imagine spending perhaps $100s of dollars on a rare deck of playing cards. Like a fine piece of art, you want to show that art off. Well now there is a wa...
Re: ERDNASE
I think that Chris has provided more evidence, if only circumstantial that Gallaway is Erdnase. But that's more evidence than most, so yes, Gallaway is a viable candidate.

Re: Charlie Miller's published works...
The Miller Notes are but 1 of 6 different sets of notes in the csuri files, that were passed around the underground in the 60's and 70's. There are the Miller, Vernon, Dr. Daley, Paul Fox, and I can't think of the other two sets at the moment. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

False Anchors Vol. 1 Ryan Schlutz
False Anchors Volume 1 is the first of 5 volumes of effects (cards) using the principle Ryan calls “False Anchors”. Ryan explains False Anchors as “You are creating a moment they anchor to as important even though, in reality, it is fictitious.” or as I like to call it “leading them down the garden ...

Re: Of the book (karl Fulves) question
Yes. Issue 2 ends on page 14, and issue 3 begins with page 21. There is no reference to any material in the index from pages 15 - 20. I know this does not make up the six missing pages but I have 2 copies of both issues #1 and #2. There is an extra 2 pages numbered 12B and 12C in the second #2 that...
Re: ERDNASE
Detectives almost always look first at family and friends of family when it comes to a personal crime. Chris is attempting to prove that adage correct with Gallaway. If he can back up these claims with something substantial then Gallaway might move to the top of the list for me.
Good work Chris.
Jeff

I would print the restaurants logo and glue it to the dental floss case. After diner I would walk up to the table and offer complimentary dental floss to everyone but only give them a small 3-4 inch piece. Taking all the pieces back after a few funny comments I would join them into one long piece. J...

My favorite coin routine is a complete vanish of a borrowed quarter. I use it almost exclusively in casual settings. If someone asks me to do a trick, I borrow a quarter and vanish it. That will usually be all the magic I do in that performance. The really difficult part of this trick is not the va...
