Yes, I had checked it out before I performed the effect. Later, when trying to explain the concept, I had to resort to the video to make my point, since I was unsuccessful in making myself understood otherwise. My friend was unable to spot any differences when watching the clip.

You could explore the dollar store for ideas. They often sell colored glo-bracelets in a multi-pak. You can find them for as many as 5/dollar.

Regarding point 2 above, you can work for tips on the street in Czech, you just have to get permission, first.

But that's no different than anywhere else (you have to get permission in the States too, for instance).
